Hello, my name is Mrs. Hancock and I teach 3rd grade in a small completely rural school in southern Illinois. This is my 13th year teaching - the first 8 were teaching elementary music and art. When the music and art program were cut I went into the self-contained classroom and have taught 4th grade and 3rd grade. This year my entire class has flexible seating options and we also have a class pet - Miss Nibbles. My students love these unique opportunities at our school and I want to be able to continue to expose my students to many things to make sure they have a well rounded education.
