My students need flexible seating: wobble chairs, wobble cushions, and bean bag chairs. I started this project to help make my classroom more comfortable for my students. I want them to walk into the classroom excited to learn, and allow them to chose how and where they want to learn in the classroom. I also want the students who have the extra energy, and the "ants in their pants" to be able to move and wiggle as they work, so they can focus on their work, and not on keeping still. Give a student choice in the classroom, and they will chose to love school. Allow a student to move and wiggle when needed, and they will be able to focus on their work. I truly believe different choices of "wiggle seating" in my classroom will allow all of my students to love school, and give their best work.
