In only a few, short weeks I will begin teaching high school for the first time in my career. While this new adventure is extremely exciting, after 16 years of teaching younger students, I've quickly been reminded just how scarce educational materials can be. My schedule will consist of four periods of regular education biology classes, one honors biology course, and one AP Earth and Environmental Ed. course. I will also have one mentoring block each day. I can hardly wait to meet my new students and want to be able to offer them all of the resources that they deserve as they learn through varied educational experiences.
