Our school is located in a university town with a population of approximately 80,000 people. It is a K-4 school with 5 third grade classes. There are approximately 600 students with 43% of students receiving free or reduced lunches. My class has 25 students. Two students are highly mobile and have just moved into our district. 5 of my students receive weekend "Snack Packs" which are snacks that go home with students so they have food for snacks over the weekend. This service is provided by charities in our area. Also two of my students receive clothes and toys from collected from charities regularly. At least 8 of my students have limited access to technology at home. The only technology (Computers) they come in contact with is what is provided at school.
