My twenty second grade students have many needs. No two students are alike. Some read well above grade level and some read well below. Even so, they all enjoy learning about the world around them. They have dreams and hopes. The majority of these students receive free or reduced priced lunch. Therefore asking parents or guardians to absorb the cost of anything beyond the very basic classroom supplies is out of the question. As 2nd graders, I want my students to have opportunities to participate in learning outside the school via field trips. Without the help of generous donors this won't be possible.
