Many of our students do not have enough food at home. They come to school hungry and worried about their next meal. This causes my students to focus more on their bellies and less on school work. I want to give my students a fighting chance to be successful during this school year.
By having snacks in the classroom I hope to eliminate hunger so the focus is on education. I will be supplying learning fuel that will include Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish and Clif Granola bars. My students are successful when they are not focused on food.
