As a Title I school, many of our students are hungry. They do get breakfast and lunch at school, but growing bodies and minds need nutritious food during the day, as well. In our class, students come back from lunch at 11:25, so they have almost four hours without food. That is a long time without a snack!
This donation of snack foods will give students access to food, so they can focus on learning, instead of their growling stomachs. It is incredible
how much of a difference food can make in peoples' lives and our kids are especially grateful.
