My school is in a progressively growing rural community with total enrollment in Kindergarten through 5th grade of over 550 students. The town population is approximately 66,881, with 17 elementary schools in the district. The diversity at our school comes from the economic levels with approximately 45% of our students receiving free and reduced lunches. I teach in a self-contained fifth grade class. I have twenty-eight students. There are a total of four fifth grade teachers at my elementary school. I teach students with a wide range of learning abilities.
