Ours is a school like no other. We are a high performing Chicago Public School with a Classical and Neighborhood component. We believe in educating the whole child through a rigorous curriculum balanced with the arts and technology. Our beautifully diverse students come from all across the city, the far south, north, and west sides. Our parents set the stage for our children. Our students come from families that have worked very hard to prepare them for our program. Our school has a community feel. We have several parents in and out throughout the day helping in a variety of ways. We have dedicated teachers that put in countless hours to develop challenging and meaningful lessons for our students. When you walk into our school, you get a special feeling. When my students walk into my third grade classroom, I want them to feel that that they are respected, and appreciated. They know that when they come to school they are in for something exciting that will spark their imagination.
