I teach fourth grade to an amazing group of low-income students in California. Though nearly 100% of the students at our school receive free lunch, they are showing amazing growth and working very hard to learn each day. Last year, our school was excited to learn that we had some of the largest academic gains of any elementary school in the entire school district. In fact, we were named a California Distinguished School!
