If my classroom gets the paint, brushes and paper we need before the end of the year I am hoping to teach my students about pop art, abstract expressionism and cubism. They deserve to smell real paint and learn how different brushes effect the strokes left on the paper.
I also want to finally teach my kids about color. Not just blending colored pencils, but COLOR color. Vibrant color. Paint, BRUSHES, real painting paper... nothing is more depressing than watercolors on white copy paper. I want my students to feel special with true, new art supplies. I can't wait to surprise them!
