Mrs. Southern's Groovy Cats! I teach 3rd graders in a rural part of NC. Many of our students' parents also came to this same school. We have a deep rooted history in our community. I have been teaching in this same school for 16 of my 18 years. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Reading Specialist, and Special Needs. Being a 3rd grade teacher is my favorite! My students and I love Pete the Cat and you can find him throughout the classroom. We are "groovy" and everything is going to be "alright!"
