Let's face it! Chairs just aren't comfortable! Each student has their own learning style, and by allowing students a choice, we are empowering them to choose a seat that best meets their individual needs. Research shows that students are able to focus and do their best work when they are comfortable. Aren’t we all?!
We have several flexible seating options already, but I'm hoping to expand their options. We need 4 Hokki Stools and 4 Wobble Cushions. My classroom needs what is best for the students. Having the flexibility to move around while working and to be comfortable at the same time is important.
Every year, expectations for elementary aged children become more demanding. We expect them to sit and get every last piece of information that may or may not appear on a state assessment. If students are expected to be successful learners, we need to provide them with the tools they need for success. Please help me give them more options! Thank you!
