My 4th/5th grade combined classroom consists of 24 total students, with 13 4th grade and 11 5th grade students, originating from a variety of different backgrounds, experiences, and socio-economic statuses. Although my students may not be extremely diverse in some ways, in others, they are the full range of the spectrum, with different learning styles, learning needs, academic abilities, and personal interests. Although we are a split grade class, we are also a learning community that strives to help one another achieve and succeed no matter what we are working on, what grade we are in, or what it takes. We are a family unit that depend on one another and do what it takes to get the job done!

About my class
