Three years ago our Principal allowed us to embark on a new adventure, Co-Teaching. We were so excited to bring both of our classrooms together to learn, as well as, learn from each other as teachers. There was one concern; our classrooms were not made to handle classes of 40+ students. So for the past 3 years we have been using 1 classroom where all of our student desks are for independent work and the other classroom where tables are arranged for small group learning opportunities, as well as, space for whole group learning. As we continue this awesome adventure we are realizing we need more space. We are wanting to knock down the wall between our two rooms to allow for one big classroom. However, we also have to have an accordion wall to replace the standing wall. Until then we will continue to be very crowded and move between both classrooms.
