My students are 9th grade English Language Arts learners who work to the best of their abilities each and every day. They are challenged every day to improve their writing skills, grammar, spelling, and technology. We also spend a substantial amount of time on literary elements and critical thinking skills. We work in a variety of ways: group work, hands-on, and are always trying new approaches to learning. They are always eager to express how they are learning and enjoy showcasing the good things they do. As they are becoming acquainted to high school, I want them to find that this is a classroom where we are all growing and improving upon our learning each and every day.
