New District, New School, New Grade....OH MY!
I am SUPER excited to be teaching 8th grade math! My room is bare bones and is ready for some TLC. My room is small, so I need to be organized. It is a very old building, so I need to bring some flare for a comfortable learning environment and I have large class sizes so I will need to be prepared! I got this!
I am teaching in an area that crashed from the oil and gas industry and many students are living in households that are finding it more and more challenging to get by. As an educator, I am committed to giving my students every chance to be successful from the moment they walk into our room. I do not want them to worry about books, paper, pencils or calculators and am committed to see every one of them feel confident when they walk out as well, without worry of how they will learn.
THANK YOU for your kindness and consideration,
Sincerely, Mrs. Blunt
