Your donation for the student clocks and teacher clock will allow the students to have a hands-on approach to practice telling time. Because of our financial situation at our school purchasing manipulatives, such as student clocks, is not possible. Elapsed time as a very difficult concept of the students' to understand and by providing the elapsed time cards the students will be able to practice using a different method.
Your donation will not only help provide the much needed manipulatives for our classroom, but will also allow you to help my current and future students have another method to learn how to tell time. The best way to learn is a skill is do actually practice it. These clocks and elapsed time cards will allow my students to physically show me the time on an analog clock.
