These materials are to set up a tool kit, so each of my students have a basic set of supplies.
This project will provide each student a bag of materials to do activities in class or at home online!
We are not able to share this year so each will need to have their own set of tools. Many of the objects are reusable. Such as the ruler, color pencils, and whiteboard markers.
The play doh is also reusable. Kids use play doh to model and explain ideas. I can have them make sediments and rocks with it.
We also model atoms and molecules. Bonus, my 8th grades love it.
We grow the creatures to practice measurement skills and graphing. Using plastic cups they will each have their own to grow. This can be done in the classroom of at home depending on distance learning.
This tool kit will be brought back and forth to school, so my kids can have it no matter where they are learning science.
