My students are part of the transition program at our high school. They are ages 18-22 and have completed their graduation requirements. They have returned for additional training in vocational skills.
Students learn vocationals skills through a project base approach. We have developed a coffee shop and are wanting to enhance our greeting card business. We would like to make greeting cards to sell to staff members throughout the year.
Skills that we will focus on are attention to detail, following multi-step directions, sequencing and assembly production. These are skills they will be able to transfer into the work place.
