Mindfulness and social emotional awareness is extremely important for everyone, especially in this day and age. I believe that my students should get the chance to have resources and materials in their classroom to help them practice mindfulness and build upon their social emotional learning. With books about teaching mindfulness to primary students, picture books, and yoga and calming music and activity cards, I will be able to introduce my students to the world of mindfulness and increase their social emotional awareness. These materials will be useful while we are still distance learning and will help set a strong mindfulness routine for when we return to the classroom in person.

About my class
