My hope is to get all of my students to read at a proficient level by the end of the school year. Aside from the reading strategies taught inside the class, I want to help them ignite their passion for reading. My students need more than the reading passages from the state-provided reading curriculum to challenge them further in reading. I’ve realized their passion for reading must be ignited within the classroom as early as 2nd grade. Please, help them ignite their love for learning!

About my class
