Students will actively participate in literature circles, projects, collaboration, word activities, and literacy work based on the novels in the hands of the students learning at home.
Students at all ability levels find it challenging to read online versions of the novels. Many students just give up. Having the novels at home with the students will drastically improve their motivation and help develop a lifelong love of reading. Many families are struggling financially and are unable to provide these books for their children.
Once hybrid learning and face-to-face learning resumes, I'll be able to collect these novels and use them year after year!
