My students are in the only self-contained 5th grade class in our school, which means we have a combination of Students with Disabilities, students with English as their second language and general education students. Due to the many different ability levels of the class, many strategies are used in order to deliver a concept or lesson. I would love to begin implementing a technology component along with Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies but due to the fact that the school is in a low socio-economic area, many of the students do not have or see the newest technology available. So many of the students have the motivation and desire to learn about technology, but they do not have the economic means to do so.
About my class
