My students love using hands-on manipulatives, teaching each other, learning from each other, and helping each other improve - which is often done while working in small groups with manipulatives. From using the manipulatives to the use of the easel to the creating with Marble Works, working through seemingly difficult problems will help my students become more understanding of each other's strengths and weaknesses.
With your kind donation, my students will be able to expand their skills, using various manipulatives and teaching resources to help each other learn and grow not only in math but in their social abilities as well. Their hands-on experiences will help them to have a greater understanding of various math and learning/working-as-a-team skills.
