My students work in stations and small groups as often as possible.
Because of this, my students need puzzles and headphones for the different station work that we do on a daily basis.
Some students in my class still need to work on their fine motor skills. Puzzles are a great way to do that. Others are working on more critical thinking skills. Again, puzzles are great for that. Other times, students may be at the brain break station and want something fun to do while working on their problem solving skills. The puzzles that I have requested will fit in each of these circumstances.
At our technology station, students have ipads or chromebooks to use to work on different skills. Headphones are a necessity when working with this technology in a class of 25 kids. During literacy stations, students may work on their fluency by recording themselves reading a story. The built-in microphone on the headphones will be a great way for students to record themselves and then listen to it back for mistakes.
