My environmental science students are making models of living ecosystems. They use empty soda bottles, soil, plants and even a living fish to put together and interdependent system that demonstrates both biotic and abiotic factors. We use these models to connect with a large chunk of the environmental science curriculum including soil formation, biogeochemical cycles, food chains and biodiversity.
With this Ðǿմ«Ã½.org project I am filling in some of the simple basic supplies that are missing in my classroom including glue sticks, drawing paper, watercolor markers and a Rapitest Soil Test Kit with replacements.
Thank you in advance for giving our kids a boost in the right direction!
