I've just implemented Daily 5 for reading and Daily 3 for math. This is a centers based structure for allowing students the opportunity to gain independence, stamina in reading and math, special skills, and teamwork with other students.
I really desire to have a "technology" center during both math and reading class periods which will give my students a chance to practice their skills through a different context.
The two classroom computers currently in my classroom are not enough to sustain improvement in technology for all my students. Having enough chromebooks will allow students to have time spent on technology multiple times throughout the day which will be a big WIN.
