Being a small community, we often struggle to maintain accessible reading resources for our students. I try to put books in kids hands, and with a library in my classroom, I can do just that. I have purchased some books from garage sales, book sales, and the like, but those finds are few and far between. The few titles I have been able to procure have helped me to get kids reading, and I am hoping to continue this work. We need books, books and MORE BOOKS! I have attempted to choose a mixture of both literary classics and contemporary fiction pulling from a variety of authors in order to provide my students with choices. Our titles include The Inheritance Cycle, The Bluest Eye, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Bell Jar, The Hate U Give and many, many more.
