One area my library could improve on would be updated technology. Students need to be prepared for 21st-century skills, such as typing and research.
Students in kindergarten through 5th grade will use this new technology to have access to faster computers. They will use these to work online on reading programs, do research, and access their Google drive for projects. If funded, more students could have access to computers while in the library. Chromebooks can be taken to any area of the library, unlike desktop computers. This would open up more opportunities to use technology in the library.
