I inherited a classroom that was net very equipped with the teaching tools needed to really reach all my students. I am asking for a set of classroom speakers so on video days, my students can clearly hear what’s going on during the lesson. I asked for a keyboard and mouse for my classroom iPad so I can have my class use it for projects throughout the year that support our lesson plan. I don’t have laptops for my students and giving them the ability to do research in the classroom is imperative to reinforcing learning. I asked for masks that my less fortunate students can just gram when needed to maintain compliance with our current mask mandate. Supplying them these things in the classroom will make class time more proficient and help our students with much needed supplies. These kids are our future and we owe it to them to give them the best education possible. Right now, I don’t have much of the vital supplies in my classroom to help facilitate their learning. These kids all look forward to coming to my class and I want to make it an unfortunate learning experience without distraction. These things if funded will help with that goal. I am excited to teach them how to become a leader and encourage them to be their best selves both in and outside the classroom. Setting up my classroom will help make it happen.
