Teaching in a Title I school challenges teachers to address the many needs of their students. My students are excited, lively and many do not have an ideal home life. My school struggles to have the materials to help all students succeed, no matter their ability. Because many students do not have someone at home to help them learn, it is necessary to have many tools and manipulatives in the classroom. The teachers in my school are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential but the amount of money spent out of pocket can get pretty high. Our students need encouragement, positive learning experiences and they need to feel the wonderment of being successful.
