I have been blessed with 22 curious, eager, and hard working kindergarteners. Our school is a magnet school in an urban setting where over 60 percent of students receive free or reduced lunch. My students come from diverse backgrounds, economic situations, and family dynamics. Half of my class come from homes where English is not their first language and many are not exposed to the English language outside of the school setting. However, my students come to school each and every day ready to learn, work hard and actively participate in all subject areas. Simply put, they enjoy the wonders of learning!
