I teach in a low income school with a high population of English Language Learner (ELL) students. I serve two classes during the school day. This year one class is full of new comers and other with students that have been here for two or more years. My students learn best through different "scenarios" (lectures, manipulative, drawing models, computer programs, pencil and paper, centers, games, etc.).
