After much research on flexible seating I realized it is the best setting for my students! Students can learn best in a comfortable relaxing environment. Most of our lessons are completed online. The great part about this- you can bring the laptop anywhere! Over to a beanbag chair, a high table overlooking the park, cozy saucer chairs, rolling stools around the large table- wherever you choose! I want to create a space the students can't wait to go to. They are in my room 45 minutes a day. The curriculum is rigorous and the kids work extremely hard. This relaxed setting will ease some of the pressure put on them. The chromebook will help start our upcoming project of online publishing where students will use Google Classroom to create websites, slides or a newsletter.
