My students come from various economic back rounds. They love to work in pairs, small groups, alone, or with me. Right now they work at their desks, on the floor, or at a table with me, but their favorite area is the bean bag corner. It is an area that provides comfort to engage in deeper thinking and conversations. Our school is a PBS(positive behavior support) driven school that strives to produce productive citizens. Our school has 52% of our students on free and or reduced price lunch which means we have a high poverty rate. My students work very hard but sometimes struggle to focus when other groups are working around them.
