A crucial part of learning is "Carpet Time," a time when students gather together to listen to a story, receive instructions, or see teacher demonstrations. This is difficult to do without a carpet!
As it is now, my students sit on the tile floor during these activities with nothing to guide their space, or to cushion them. Young children need to have visible boundaries so they can see where to sit and where their personal space is, which is why I have selected a carpet with these boundaries clearly marked. Your donation would help 400+ students on a daily basis!
