I am a teacher of an SDC classroom for children who are on the autism spectrum. My students are first and second graders. The students love to look at/read books of all types. They especially love books on animals with bright colors and fun illustrations. Books that they can interact with (movable parts, flaps, etc.) or books with pop-ups are of high interest. Books are great teaching tools because they keep the students interest and are reinforcing for the student. The students would love to see their classroom library grow!
