My students are AWESOME! They come from the three high schools in the county to our technical school for half a day to learn a trade, industry or STEM education program. My students are very diverse in their socio-economic statuses, interests, technology use, and educational backgrounds. We are flipping our classroom to maximize the class time we have that is cut short due to the travel time it takes to get to and from our school to their home schools. Flipping our classroom would allow my students to utilize the bus ride for instruction time that is lost, thus allowing more time in class to work, collaborate, and receive support from classmates and me, their teacher.
