My students exhibit a wide variety of significant social-emotional needs (such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, Autism). Students in my class struggle day to day with social and academic demands. At times, my students work in my class due to behaviors, sensory issues, lack of engagement, etc. We have only a couple of computers in my classroom and at times, the students have to stand around one computer in order to complete school work. This makes it difficult for my students to complete their work. Some of my students do not have access to technology at home to work on schoolwork. They rely on my classroom as a place to finish classwork.
