Thanks for taking the time to look at my page. I am starting out as a new teacher. I was hired just a few days before the school year started. On the first day of school, my students came into an empty classroom. There was nothing on the walls. There was nowhere for them to put their supplies. My homeroom consists of sixteen kids. I am the social studies and science teacher so I teach every fourth grader. I have been working hard to not only build relationships with the students that I teach, but also to make our classroom warm and inviting. I want my students to be excited to come to school and ready to learn. My students are a wonderful group of kids. They are excited to learn and really work hard during the school day. We call them "young scholars" at this school and they really are. I am very excited to for this school year. I just know it is going to be great!
