My classes are an Early Childhood Special Needs Classroom consisting of 6 children with special needs (with Individual Education Programs) and 6 children without special needs (typical students). Many of my students are diagnosed with development delays or autism. I have two half day classes in which the morning and afternoon classes consist of 12 children each. They range in age from 3 to 5 years. Most of my children come from lower income families who want their children to learn and be the best they can be. The children are eager to learn and enjoy learning. Our early childhood programs are spread throughout the district. I am presently housed in an elementary building. The elementary school also serves lower income families.
