Our school has adopted our own form of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support where our students have the opportunity to earn "Eagle Feathers" for demonstrating what it means to be a J A Eagle! Students can earn these "Feathers" for a variety of reasons, including maintaining a positive attitude, working hard, and demonstrating leadership in both the academic and social arenas. Approximately once a month, students can "cash-in" their earned feathers to earn a variety of school supplies, prizes, toys, and activities (such as eating lunch with a teacher). Because it is in it's infancy, our shelves are currently depleted and are attempting to get a nice jump-start on providing incentives for our students! As it stands, we currently lack the funds to provide, what I deem to be, a sufficient and amazing incentive for our students to not only be better leaders in schools, but to create a foundation so they can be successful, contributing members of society. Thank you for your consideration!
