The Gaming Club is a social club for boys and girls to have fun, make friends, and reduce stress via electronic video gaming. Members are known as “Gamer Wolves” who strive to reach the next level academically in addition to gaming.
The materials chosen for the Gaming Club (HD Projectors, surge protectors, PS4 controllers, HDMI Cables, Madden 20, NBA 2K21, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Street Fighter V) will support the 40 student members and allow for weekly gaming and E-Sports/tournaments to be held throughout the school year.
Due to COVID-19, the maximum number of face-to-face members allowed to game in one room is 8-10 and they will be socially distanced at different gaming stations within that room or sent to additional rooms with a monitor. (This is a specific reason more than one HD projector is requested.) In order to maintain a safe social distance, members will be placed on a gaming rotation schedule to play video games with their grade level peers (6th, 7th, or 8th). The gaming room and equipment will be sanitized between member usage and members will receive a list of safety protocol that must be followed.
