Welcome, I am so happy you are here! I am Ms. Karina and I co-teach in an inclusive pre-k classroom. Our school serves a diverse community in which more than three quarters of the students come from low income households. My students are learning new things every day in our classroom! We work hard on teaching them important skills such as language, imitation, joint attention, matching, requesting and functional play skills, among other very important things. My students learn through play and benefit from engaging and tangible materials that meet their diverse needs. Every four weeks we learn a new Unit and require hands on supplies to make our lessons rich and meaningful. I am thankful for you and for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ because I have the opportunity to fill our class with amazing tools to foster learning and growth in their development. I am so lucky to be Room 1's pre-k teacher, I cannot wait to share pictures with you!
