My students love to “share the pen” when we work on our writing assignments. With the easel and huge Post-It notes, they are able to take ownership of their writing when they have the opportunity to come and write. The privacy shields will be used to help them stay focused on their writing or what they are reading when finished with their work. The timer will be used to help with transitions or even how long they have for certain activities in the classroom. With these new items, my students will take ownership in their learning that they will be eager to come in each day to see what we will be doing.
