I am currently in my 6th year teaching at Yorkdale Elementary School. I have taught grades 1-5 and have loved all of my experiences. One thing that has remained true over the past 6 years is that I am deeply invested in the social emotional growth of my students. I believe school should be a safe place for all students to grow and learn. Students should feel like they belong in their classroom and that their opportunities at school are exciting and engaging.
