We have a dynamic and diverse group of 6th, 7th and 8th graders in Palmer, Alaska. We have great athletes, leaders and artists among our students. We do also have an increase in students who have experienced multiple traumas in their childhood that make it difficult to concentrate and succeed in the classroom and with their peers. These students are at risk for failure, self harm and suicide.
