As an inclusion special education teacher, I strive to meet the needs of every student, but find that I am sometimes unable to provide my students with the resources that would help me, help them be successful.
I really love how our students are self-aware of how they feel, however, it breaks my heart when they start to ask me, "Why does my brain think about too many things".
I am hoping that by incorporating flexible seating options in our classroom, this will decrease any behavioral issues and increase the students' engagement and on-task behavior. This will also give the students an opportunity to take ownership in their own learning, so that they can become lifelong learners!
