Students in 5th grade science are in need of microscopes to better understand how larger organisms are made up of a collection of smaller parts, working and moving together.
Microscopes will enhance our exploration of plant and animal parts, classification, adaptation, chemical changes and reactions, cells and molecules. Seeing beyond what is visible to the naked eye, allows students a deeper understanding of matter.
A main focus in 5th grade scientific investigation, is the inquiry and exploration of objects, natural and man-made, being made up of smaller parts.
With the use of microscopes, students can investigate this phenomena firsthand, in an engaging and hands-on experience.
